I see our lives together

Everyone imagines us together

To be by your side

Our bodies bonded

As our souls already are

To walk through life together

As one entity

Supporting each other

Loving each other

Being a part of each other

But there’s some obstacle

A wall keeping you from me

From having these feelings

I’ll have to climb over

Or break it down

Until that day comes

I will search elsewhere

Trying to forget these feelings

Distracting myself from the pain

Of not getting a chance with you
